IHG story started in 1777 when Bass began his journey from local brewery to global hospitality player, acquiring hotel brands purchase and become world famous. IHG founded in year 2003. We are committed to our people and hotels, we also committed to our communities. At the very heart of IHG is a real passion to help and care for others through program such as True Hospitality for Good, world supporting communities, charities and important causes around the world. In additional, The IHG Green Engage program launched in 2009 which helps hotel manage, report and minimize the overall environmental impact.
In 1983 we launched a Priority Club Rewards, our loyalty program is the oldest and largest in the industry with over 100 million members. In 2013 we relaunched the program as IHG Rewards Club, giving guest exceptional benefits and rewards that really matter. In addition, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants also have their own reward programs, InterContinental Ambassador and Kimpton Innercircle.
